WHOO HOOO!!!!

Had my treadmil delivered last week, and started to use it 30 - 40 min a day.  I've cut my caloric intake to 1500 - 1750 per day.  In 11 days I've lost *7* Pounds!!!  Talked to my doc today about my cholestrol and weight loss, and he warned me not to get discouraged, but in a few weeks it whould level to around 1 - 2 pounds a week, but I don't mind.  I'm just pleased as punch at the good start I have!

Congrats!

It's a slow road - I've dropped about 65 lbs since last August, but there were weeks where it felt like I could starve myself completely and not lose a thing.

I'm a little over half way to where I want to be. Hopefully by GenCon this year.

I need to start doing that myself again...got out of the habit when I was working an out of state contract job, and haven't started it back yet...

Good Job I Luv WoB, yeah you should plateau out soon, don't get discouraged.  Plus anything more than 1-2 lbs a week can be dangerous to your health.  I just recently started going back to the gym and swimming again, got winded walking up 3 flights of stairs with 50 lbs worth of stuff.  Keep us posted :)

Good going -- I'm on a wierd diet right now where I can pretty much have what I want for all meals except one -- that one meal being a cup of rice, 8 to 12 oz of fish (I had mahi mahi tonight, tilapia last night, swai the night before), and as much green veggie as I want. (Typically I go with brocolli or brussel sprouts).

Combined with my riding 12 to 20 miles a day on the bicycle and cutting sugared soda out of my diet, I'm down to 198 from the disgusting peak of 260 I reached when I was borderline bedridden and mis-medicated thanks to a certain "idiot with a license to quack"

I have difficulties with things like treadmills -- it makes me sick to be going through the action of walking without actually going anywhere... Basically the opposite of motion-sickness, probably why I can go out on the roughest ocean and be fine, but when I get back on land I get sick.

Which is why I go biking even in subzero temps.

Good to hear, it's amazing what a bit of lifestyle and dieting change will make.

One downside I have to warn you about is the cost of a new wardrobe.

New pants are expensive. :)

Two things I require from pants:

1: That they fit.

2: That Wombat has never, ever, ever, had anything to do with them.

I've been here too long to trust any garment with Wombat interference.
