It's worth noting that many companies have problems with, and limit access to, sites like MegaUpload and YouSendIt, because of the classical pairing of illegal movie/music uploads, and viruses. Two alternatives:
1) DropBox. Yes, it's still a third party holding your files, but you choose who you want to access them.
2) Gmail - with gigs of free storage space, and a company that knows all your web secrets anyway, it's worth looking at.
