Where to find ASF record sheets from FASA
« on: 07 February 2012, 16:54:26 »
I am a longtime player of BattleTech who is admittedly less knowledgeable about AeroTech, having only played AeroTech 1st edition a few times, and the later iteration(s) not at all.

I would like to know if anyone more familiar with AeroTech than I am would personally know the answer to the following question:

Where would I find FASA record sheets for the canon AeroSpace Fighter designs?

I've looked in Record Sheets Volume 5:  Vehicles and found nothing.  I'm unsure what to look for in late '90s FASA products, and I know that FanPro or Catalyst probably have totally different-looking record sheets.  I also don't own HeavyMetal software yet, since I am one of those deviant Mac users.

Please respond at your next convenience.

Head up, dunno if it would be relevant, but the old record sheets don't work with the current rules.  As I found out.  :-\

But a source for pre filled record sheets would be nice.

AeroTech 2 Record Sheets is the only compilation of recordsheets that I know of out there.
Note that I have heard this compilation is hard to find now due to scarcity.

In my experience, they work just fine.

I myself use HeavyMetal Aero and at P.R.I. I have files that include pretty much everything we have stats for.  I can't think of anything that isn't there right now at least.  ;)

Really? I still use my AeroTech 2 record sheets. Lord Cameron and I have never had a problem with them - although I think he now uses Heavy Metal Pro.

The rules set before AT2 has considerably different hit locations, fuel use, and so on.
Mordin Solus: We need a plan to stop them.
John Shepard: We fight or we die. That's the plan.
Ashley Williams: Wow. That's the plan? Is it just me, or did Shepard have better plans before he died?
Urdnot Wrex: Silence! This is the best plan anyone, anywhere has ever had!
Garrus Vakarian: Yes! I AM SO THERE I AM THERE ALREADY!

True.  So if you have AT1 sheets, those will not work.  I don't know of any AT1 record sheets ever being offered though.

Is heavymetal aero the defacto source for record sheets?  I'm getting a little tired of filling in the data myself.  It will work with the TotalWar rules, right?

thanks!  O0
