So, one thing I've noticed is that BA and Protos have their constituent armour and weapons broken down into kilograms and that one ton increments (for Protos) seem to be displayed as equivalent to 1,000kg. Now, I've always taken a ton to mean, in game terms, a US short ton, which is 2,000 pounds or 909 kg. Metric tons, on the other hand, are 1,000 kg, but are usually written as tonne or metric ton. It is sort of pedantic, but I've wondered for a while.
Also, now that I think about it, the weights of blue water ships are usually written as US long tons. What's the case here?
