The Tonbo was moved to be released as an online exclusive.
As such, it needed a new product number and the old one needed to be reassigned.

Owe, I forgot to add that the Osteon will also have two variants done and released as online exclusives. The D and Jaguar, they look great as well.

While I'm glad to see it's on the list, the Hector is being produced while the Ostwar is still nowhere to be seen?

Von Rohrs?

All of the above are fun mechs to drive (in Megamek anyways - nice image for the Hector in Megamek BTW - sculptors should look at it) and I hope the Ostwar and Von Rohrs make the production schedule soon.

I agree, I would definitely be nice to see these get produced. I'm still holing out for a Brahma at some point.

All of you who are complaining about their most beloved unit not being in the list:
Usually we have two batcher per quarter, so far that's only the case for the first quarter. Also, the fourth quarter is still without any releases at all. No idea, if we will get a second batch per quarter, but we should definitely get a fourth quarter batch. So there is still room for more.

I think Kit is the only one complaining :P

But in all seriousness, I don't think listing the items that you would like to see come out in mini form is complaining. There is always a mini that someone is going to want more than others, and there is really nothing wrong with sharing that.

If your first thought (and for some here even the first and only thing they posted) when seeing a list of coming releases is "why isn't XY on the list?", then yes, that is called complaining.
Personally, I would also like the Stinger IIC as a mini. It's my baby, after all. But that still wasn't my first thought or first post here, when I saw the list of new releases. I actually didn't even think of it until Avon mentioned it.
Sometimes it would just be nice to show a bit of appreciation and support to the guys at IWM. It's a bit annoying that for some people the first reaction is always "but you haven't done what I want."

I am happy about the upcoming releases. So glad to see the mini Marauder (AKA Fennec) on the list. So many good releases this year. Guess I need to work on the back catalog of unassembled minis.

It's just the nature of a release system in which people have to wait x-amount of time to see their favourite designs in metal form. Just because you decided not to verbalize your want of a certain mini yet to be made doesn't really give you license to judge those that have. As for showing support, I think the very notion that they are eager to get more stuff released by IWM shows support for both the company and what they do for the game. It is a trend on these boards to needlessly attack those that in any way criticize a certain sculpt or in this case to show their desire for a certain mini to be released and to say that they are not being supportive or complaining.

I'm personally ecstatic about the upcoming releases, but I also noted that I hope to see a Brahma some time in the future. I would not call this a complaint at all, just a hope. Burning Chrome (sorry to point fingers) just wanted to point out that certain minis have been on the books for a while (ie the Von Rhors) and still haven't been produced, and I think it is a valid point. It just seems unfair to say that he is complaining just because you don't like what he is posting.

I honestly have no axe to grind with you DarkISI, I just don't think it is fair to accuse certain people of complaining or to take any kind of 'high-ground' in this instance.

100% agreed. Well said.

"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."
