AS7-KM Atlas (3055)

As you can see, it keeps all attributes of standard AS7-K Atlas.

Both ER Large Lasers are in arms, Medium Pulses are in the Center Torso, Gauss Rifle sits in the Right Torso and LRM-20 rack is in the Left Torso. Even the AMS stayed in the Left Arm as it was.

The main concern was explosive missile ammo, so I kept three tons in the Left Torso and I put one ton into the Right Torso - all CASE protected.
Gauss Rifle ammunition filled the empty leg slots where Single Heat sinks once were. I consider it okay solution since GR slugs do not explode, so they can act as padding there. It's not the first design with ammo in legs, especially if this ammo is harmless.
To waste the last ton, I put TAG into the left eye socket.

It's not so far ahead of other canon machines from the era as to be noticable, but it still corrects most of what was wrong with the AS7-K to begin with. Ideally, I would have gone for this:

While I'm a big proponent of the under-rated Large and ER Large Laser, I think the PPCs are a better option here, since you lose 1 hex of range in exchange for better heat dissipation and more damage, especially with C3 to assist with the range brackets.

Though on the other hand, were you to swap the PPCs for ER larges, you could slap in a C3 Master computer, too, which a Mech of this size can use.

Always an option for further variants, yes. Though the Endo Steel version is crit-packed and would require other changes.
