Thank You very much. All edited pics are taken and worked on by Kebab.
I try to build structures without humans and crowds occupying their hexes. This is supposed to represent the village that fled away before Mechs, but also to represent people moving around during movement phase (I have some home rules for crowd behaviour). Vehicles I usually try to model manned.
Every now and then there is a need to park Your Mech and have a coffee. Or hot, sweet tea. Important is, not to take it to go and hurry but to have a sit, read a paper and look at the people hurrying in their daily purposes. Take five before we start destroying their lives:
Oh, they keep some stuff in the backyard, too:
There is this house in the village that often has a flickering light inside despite late night. You might think that this is the craddle for some illegal or conspiracy activity, so You send recon or drones closer. And as they approach, they hear this characteristic "waaaa! waaa!" and they can even see the parents' tired faces. This may be Mech stomping that woke up the toddler; this may be colic; this may be palsy with painful muscular spasm. Being a child with problems is never easy, especially on the Periphery. Maybe in couple of years he/she will walk to school almost normally and the parents will live long enough to see it grow up. Become technician or medic in the machine of war.
The lights do flicker, this is the same base as for the explosions mentioned in the other thread here. Looks really like candle burning inside, good effect.
