on pg. 176 under Battle Armor: "Even if the trooper is killed, the suit can be salvaged on a 2D6 roll of 10+. If it can be repaired and somebody can be found to wear it, the suit can be pressed back into service" (emphasis mine). However, in the master repair table starting on pg. 183, there is no reference for repairing Battle Armor suits. In fact, there is not a single entry for BA under the repair section of that table.

So how do you go about repairing a BA suit?

You use the rules in ATOW Companion, starting on p.61.

The intent of the sentence on p.176 of SO is that any suit on which you roll 10+ is also repaired. When using the rules in ATOWC, you no longer roll, and actually have to attempt to repair.
The solution is just ignore Paul.

You might want to consider a minor errata here, because the use of the term "If it can be repaired" does not imply the intent that it actually does not need to be repaired.
