(Answered) Dropship Launch Smoke

So we have the damage that dropships do when they take off and land to surrounding units and terrain.

But what about the massive smoke that they surely have.  When the shuttle takes off there is a HUGE amount of smoke.  Granted, its solid/liquid fuel and not hydrogen, but still, surely there is quite a lot of smoke surrounding dropship launches and landings.

Perhaps even usable as cover, so when your unit is under heavy fire the dropship can come down, smoke up the area, and let you escape while taking a turn or two of fire.

So my question is, do dropship launching/landings create smoke, and if so how much?  I'd guess at least a 3-5 hex area out from spheroids, and 6 or 8 behind aerodynes, but that is just an assumption on my part.

There are no rules for that, so feel free to use what you prefer in your game.
