Historical: War of '39, page 82 describes an Achilles-class dropship, the Veracity, which supported Laurel's Legion when they evacuated the world. The ship engaged in combat with a Combine dropship, the Hideyoshi, and they rammed, destroying both ships. A sidebar on page 82 tells of the Hideyoshi's last moments via a flight recorder transcript.
My question...was the Veracity a mercenary vessel (affiliated with Laurel's Legion or independent), or was it an AFFS or LCAF vessel? The 8th Crucis Lancers were on Biham, and LCAF marines and engineers had assisted Laurel's Legion in securing Biham's Tiberius gas mining complex.
