(Answered) Point Defense and Capital Missiles
« on: 11 April 2014, 16:21:31 »
Are point defense against capital missiles resolved per missile or per bay? The language in Strategic Operations (page 97 under the Capital Missiles subheading of the advanced point defense rules) referrers to missiles individually, including an example where two missiles pass through point defense range of a warship and are engaged separately by its anti missile systems.

Does this apply to entire bays of capital missiles? If attacked by, say, a weapon bay containing five white sharks, does the point defense attack the entire volley as a group in one action, or does have to engage every missile fired seperately?

Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.
