Something I never thought about before, but that came up in a MegaMek game just today when a stray shot to an airborne VTOL resulted in a "Crew Killed" result that left the vehicle itself still nominally functional -- should or shouldn't assorted "general" crew-related vehicle critical hits, which seem to have been written primarily with ground units in mind, have additional effects when applied to airborne ones, specifically airborne VTOLs and WiGEs?

(For example, strictly by the book the above helicopter would  -- and did -- end up simply hovering in place with no other ill effects; unable to do anything, yet not even the risk of elevation drop and possible crash normally associated with the "Pilot Hit" VTOL-specific critical hit. And WiGEs take critical hits from the same table as ground vehicles, but not so unlike VTOLs at all spend much of their time just a few meters above the ground without seemingly ever being at risk of accidentally hitting it from things like driver injury -- their equivalent of "Pilot Hit", I would imagine -- or their crews as a whole getting stunned. The rules feel a bit incomplete here.)

Airborne units should crash.  This will be addressed in future errata.  Thanks.
