(Answered) What eras does the tech manual cover?
« on: 20 September 2014, 00:43:47 »
Hello, I just got my box set less than 2 weeks ago and I was interested in figuring out the current era gear and such.  I have the Tech readout for 3145 and era report book (if that matters).  So, as the title says, does this book cover weapons and gear from the Dark Age era?  Thank you.

Yes and no.

The base construction rules for 'Mechs and vehicles can be found in TechManual.  Without them, you can't construct anything.

Additional equipment and vehicle types that are in widespread use during the Dark Age can be found in Tactical Operations.  Special Dark Age era equipment (equipment that made its debut during that era) can be found in Field Manual 3145.
