Classic Battletech: Historical Brush Wars

I am thinking of getting this but am wondering if book includes the Marik-Liao invasion of the FedCom of 3058; can anyone tell me what wars are included in this sourcebook?

It doesn't include the Marik-Liao invasion of 3058.  All of the wars are pre-3050:

Marik Civil War (3015)
Andurien Revolt (3030's)
The Ronin Wars (3034)

I highly recommend this book.  There's a lot of detail, including maps, and each war is written by a different author, so the flavor is a bit different for each, particularly the entry on the Ronin Wars.

As bytor said, I recommend the book as well.  The Historical series are some of the best written books in the line.  Plus, this particular book covers important events that desperately deserved to be expanded and gives attention to the FWL.

Heck, I don't even like the FWL and I liked it. I especially enjoyed the Andurian/Canopian invasion of the CapCon but they all were pretty good in the end.

I see; thank you for the replies

Where would I find a more detailed account of the Marik-Liao Invasion of 3058?

I can't think of any one place that it's laid out in any detail.  I'm sure you can get bits and pieces from the various Field Manuals for the three powers involved.

It's a high-quality book.

Era Report 3062 has a good section on it.  Operation Guerrero is not as expansive as some people make it out to be.  It was a simple punitive action that just so happened to trigger some other events.
