Reposts from the Archives (to be checked and formatted later):

All instances of New Vandenburg (with a "u") should be New Vandenberg (with an "e")

Tigress Close Patrol Craft -  Two different BV listed (Fluff Listing) 1152 & (Record Sheet) 852

SNOWDEN MINING STATION Mk.I RS

It still has Industrial Mech Storage Facilities but no Industrial Mechs (the Mk. I replaces them with small craft)

PDF, page 84, under Aerospace Fighters:
"More than a hundred aerospace fighters serve in the MAF, many light or medium craft, but with increasing numbers of heavy and even some assault fighters."

The problem with that statement is that there is no assault class for aerospace fighters. So, I suggest that it's changed to:

"More than a hundred aerospace fighters serve in the MAF, many light or medium craft, but with increasing numbers of heavy fighters."

or

"More than a hundred aerospace fighters serve in the MAF, many light or medium craft, but with increasing numbers of heavy fighters and even some small craft."

depending on preference.

Pg. 138 - (Outworlds Alliance) Alliance Aerospace - mention assets, having two Vengeance Class Dropship Carriers, but does not include the former Clan Titan Class Dropship captured by Alliance forces named the Long Road trial of possession with the Ravens.  Originally mentioned in Field Manual: Updates as part of the major event brought Snow Ravens into investigating the OA.

The Marian Hegemony Armed Forces officer rank structure goes as follows on page 158:

Legionnaire: Graduate of Collegium Bellorum Imperium (ensign-type rank)
Centurion: Century (5 mechs/tanks, or 100 infantry)
Principes: Maniple: 2 Century (10 mech/tanks)
Legatus: Cohort: 3 Maniple (30 mech/tanks)
Prefect: Legion: 3 Cohort + support units (90 mechs/tanks + assorted others)
General: Multi-Legion commands, military governors of Lotharian and Illyrian districts
Imperator: Commander of the Legiones Marianes.

On vii, color plate page 81, the rank structure is as follows:

Legionaire (one n)
Principes
Centurion
Legatus
General
Caesar

Centurion and Principes are flipped, Prefect and Imperator no longer exist. This actually matches the color plate for the Marian Hegemony in Field Manual, Periphery, and was probably caused by the artist going by the earlier image.

Page 75 on Field Manual, Periphery, describes each rank insignia. The Legionnaire is described as the Principes in the color plate, the Centurion is correct, the Principes description says it's gold with a black center instead of silver/black, and the Legatus rank is described as shown by the General. Prefects and their golden eagle in the center (presumably to represent the Legionary eagle) are completely absent in the plate, while the General's description matches the Caesar's drawing. The Imperator's paired gold stars are altogether missing, and the image of the Caesar's rank is short two stars.

PDF, Page 200

HBMPS has one Tariq platoon being armed with Light Recoilless Rifles.  In TacOps it says that large beasts can not carry support weapons, but a Light Recoilless Rifle is a support weapon listed in TechManual.

Redo the unit without Light Recoilless Rifles.

Pg. 207:
"Diamond Sharks, 10"

Errata:
"Clan Diamond Shark, 10"

Page 213 Rock Hound Record Sheet

Error: Right arm lists a Mining Drill with a Hand Actuator.

TechManual page 246 states
"Humanoid BattleMechs and IndustrialMechs may mount mining drills in the arms, but are limited to one drill per arm and must remove the
hand actuator on the chosen arm to do so"

Fix: Remove the Hand Actuator, move all equipment up to fill in the slot

Error: Right arm lists a Mining Drill with a Hand Actuator.

TechManual page 246 states:
"Humanoid BattleMechs and IndustrialMechs may mount mining drills in the arms, but are limited to one drill per arm and must remove the
hand actuator on the chosen arm to do so"

Fix: Remove the Hand Actuator, move all equipment up to fill in the slot

TechManual page 246 states:

hand actuator on the chosen arm to do so"

Fix: Remove the Hand Actuator, move all equipment up to fill in the slot

Error: Right arm lists a Mining Drill with a Hand Actuator.

TechManual page 246 states:
"Humanoid BattleMechs and IndustrialMechs may mount mining drills in the arms, but are limited to one drill per arm and must remove the
hand actuator on the chosen arm to do so"

Fix: Remove the Hand Actuator, move all equipment up to fill in the slot

Page 189, 216

The description of the Space Hound states that it gives up the SRMs, ejection seat, and lift hoist for a pair of jump jets and two tons of reaction mass.

The Record sheet on page 216 however leaves the Lift Hoist in place, and only has 1 jump jet.

Either the record sheet needs to be fixed, or the description needs to be fixed.

On the maps of the Taurian Concordat on page 121 and 127, the scale in Light Years as given in the Legend is wrong. It gives the length of one quarter of the scale bar as 30 Light Years, and the length of the total bar as 90 Light Years or 20,1 parsec.s The total length of the bar should be annotated as 120 Light Years or 26,8 Parsecs.

It's more interesting than optimal, and therefore better. O0 - Weirdo

On page 147, in the 2750 map change the name of the planet "Bob" to "Dunklewälderdunklerflüssenschattenwelt".

It was renamed Bob after the 1st Succession War got started.

With regards,
Øystein

As per thread here:
http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,21600.msg483180.html#new

PDF-edition only:

Maps of the Periphery are in error as the post-AoW maps do not show the internal divisions of the Periphery for the Taurian Concordat or Magistracy of Canopus:

Quote from Øystein
Quote
Blæh, someone ****** up somewhere then, because my "ForLayout" files all have internal borders for the major periphery nations on all maps except the founding ones.

This error is not present in the print edition.

Dedicated to committing viciously gratuitous bastardy of the first order.

Unofficial LD for 2 seconds - It was a glorious moment!

"They can bring it. We fought off an army of guys who wore 20 pound decorative brass shoulder pauldrons. I'm not afraid of the Disney Land mascot brigade" - MadCapellan, in reference to the Confederation possibly facing the Clans.

p. 180, KHOG (KHOGUS CANISOUS CIRCINUSII)

The first paragraph describes the Khog as, "about the size of a large dog."  The stats in the second column list the length as 120 meters and height as 90 meters.

Change to...
Length: 120 cm
Height: 90 cm

HB:MPS and TechManual have contradictory information. As TM has had a most recent printing I'm assuming this is the correct Errata thread instead of TM.

Page 119, Pinard Protectorates, LTD
"Contrary to accepted wisdom, the Rommel tank has never been produced on Perdition, though rumors to that eff ect have dogged PPL for decades. Katherine Steiner-Davion’s decision to export the design in the wake of the Lyran Alliance’s formation only served to entrench these rumors." This appears to be a correction of The Periphery (1st) p. 82

ISSUE: Contradicted by TechManual (6th Printing) p. 93 where a MAF Colonel speaks about fellow Trinity Alliance manufacturing and employment of the Rommel. This is supported by Field Manual: Periphery p. 15 that the Rommel/Patton design was reversed engineered and in production on "at least a dozen worlds." The Patton (but not the Rommel) appear on the p. 148 RAT and Circinus Federation illustration page in that book. So while The Periphery (1st) was incorrect in 3028, it seems production was begun by the 3060s.
CORRECTION: If TM is correct,. delete the above paragraph in HB:MPS and adjust MUL availability. If HB:MPS is correct, change TM mentions.of Rommel to Po or similar vehicle.

"Assassinating" the Clan commander's goldfish is hardly the stuff of legend.
