Here are some pics from last weekend's game at Kublacon (Memorial Weekend) - it is one of the biggest Gamer Cons in the West Coast.
For our Kublacon game I was part of the GM team that consisted of Bincho, Moparmessiah, Kam, and myself - the pics below show some of the action of the game at Kublacon. The awesome boards & minis are courtesy of Bincho and Moparmessiah
At this year’s con we had a huge turnout, we had so much foot traffic it was it was unbelievable! We started at 9:00am and we didn't stop rolling the dice until 11:00pm. That's 14 hours of Battletech goodness! Needless to say my voice was gone by the next morning and I was completely wiped out. At one point during the game we easily had over 20 players throwing down!
Over 75% of the players that registered for our games were either new to the table top game or returning players from the era before the clans invaded the Innersphere, it was good to see former players taking an interest in Battletech once more.
For all that attended it was great seeing you folks there and making your acquaintance!
Bincho & Mopar - take a bow for your outstanding work! Your craftsmanship in mini painting and terrain building was superb. Both the players and all passersby were constantly complementing the game layout, the terrain, and the minis.
A big thanks to Fryguy49 (Jordan) for giving us an awesome spot at this year's Kublacon's miniature gaming hall, for his professionalism, and for helping us out, as we need it, during the con season. Thank you Jordan!
Well without further ado here the pics – Cheers!
