[ISAW] I Can Build CASE Equipped 'Mechs In 3025?

So for those keeping up with new releases at the moment you may have noticed that 2SW has rules for research in ISAW games. For a game starting in 3025 IS powers have a BattleTech (Couldn't you guys have come up with a better name?) of 3, which allows, in addition to those things granted at a lower level: "May build D-rated units;
LAMs cost 3x". Now there's not that much at Tech Rating D, and most stuff either hasn't been invented yet or is normally available in 3025. CASE however is an exception, it's Tech Rating D, with an intro date before 3025, but it's not normally available in that era.

So can you build 'Mechs equipped with only this piece of advanced equipment in this era?

IO, page 39 notes CASE went extinct in 2840, and didn't come back until 3036.  I suppose the answer to your question depends on whether you consider 3036 to be "3025" or not...

Late Succession War "Renaissance" yes but I wouldn't go so far as to allow CASE in 3025. I wouldn't blanche at a few CASE equipped Mechs showing up as prototypes at the very end of the Ronin Wars but these would probably be more canon in the war of 3039-40.

The only free CASE I Have seen , I only seen done on Solaris VII . The free slot in the head : nothing transfers if it blows up. Sadly that can only one ton of ammo or half a ton of machine gun ammo.

the goons have an shogun with CASE that has a born-on date of 3029. It doesn't show up in production units until 3038 with the Daboku and a few unique Grand Dragon and Hatamoto-Chi variants in 3039. Widespread use seems to kick in about 3048.
