That's it! Challenge the Clans to rock-paper-scissors in 3050! A good portion of the 'Mechs didn't have hands so the Inner Sphere would win!
If I had a nickel for every time I've legged a Warhammer, I could put them in a sock, spin it around and leg another Warhammer.

Yeah, that's pretty brutal!

I think I'd either put all the lasers in the torso or remove the arm actuators so I can flip them and shoot behind me. Half-and-half just doesn't do it for me... Also, might consider dropping some of the MLs for MXPLs. Sure you'll lose firepower, but those extra -2 to hit helps a lot when you're jumping everywhere!

I was about to suggest a medium VSPL but the things are so dang heavy. Near max armor and a standard engine, so it will take a lot of killing. Nimble with plenty of weapons.
I'm rarely right... Except when I am.  ---  Idle question.  What is the BV2 of dread?
Apollo's Law- if it needs Clan tech to make it useable, It doesn't deserve those resources in the first place.
Sure it isn't the most practical 'mech ever designed, but it's a hundred ton axe-murderer. If loving that is wrong I don't wanna be right.

Workable ideas but there is a method to my madness. The weapons are spread out to prevent a crit on any one section taking them all out, and I'm okay with relying on a torso twist to deal with the sneaky buggers. The extra accuracy of MXPLs would be nice, but the loadout is tailored to match up perfectly with a two-ton tarcomp and use volume of fire to score hits when jumping. This also allows for a devastating barrage when moving normally.

Yeah, it's usually lighter to just use pulse lasers and a tarcomp or AES. The armor is only one point short of max so it doesn't spill over into the next half-ton.

MXPLs are a very easy replacement since they're 2 tons, 6 heat each - the same as two MLs. So a very simple replacement. :)

Certainly, but even allowing for the increase in accuracy, the overall damage output would drop a bit.
I do use them on this super-jumpy guy though.

Just realized I should have mentioned what the main idea behind this thing was.
Most of us agree that the basic ML is very very good in terms of mass/damage/heat/crits etc.
So I decided to make an all ML mech that exploits the crap out of all their advantages with an all ML mech.
Their short range meant it had to be a tough close-in brawler, or a speedy/jumpy backstabber.
Their light weight gave enough leftover mass to be a well-armored brawler with ok speed and great jumping ability without resorting to a fragile XL engine.
Sweeeet.
Tarcomp masses work out very well with MLs with the sweet spots being at four and eight tons of direct-fire weapons.
Went with the latter to make full use of the free sinks, plus one extra. That, plus the PW gives a  heat neutral walking alpha. Woo!
The nice thing about the ML array is that even with so-so TNs, you can just keep firing the next laser until you hit or run out of heat capacity.
A standard engine, max armor, and no ammo gives it plenty of "OH GOD WHY WON'T IT JUST DIE ALREADY?'
