(Answered) ASEW Missile Questions

The rules in TO say that you can fire an ASEW missile at a target under 500 tons, though with a +4 penalty. What happens if you hit it?  It doesn't make a lot of sense to me for a weapon that can blind 2 entire arcs on a warship to only be able to blind a fighter's left wing. Should it just add the +4 penalty to any weapon attacks that smaller target makes? Inflict a point of sensor/fcs damage?

What happens if you hit the same location on the same target with multiple ASEW missiles in a single round? Does the affected time increase at all?

On p. 358 of TO:

"ASEW Missiles suffer a +4 to-hit modifier against any unit lighter than 500 tons"

AFTER THIS ADD:

"; such units suffer a +4 modifier to all weapons it has, as per above."


The rules don't describe additional effects due to multiple hits, so there aren't any additional effects.
