Needed: a diverse series of aerospace fighters working under constraints:

1. Light
2. Medium
3. Heavy

Engine requirements: must share the same size/rating engine with a limit of "Light" engine.
Armor requirement: Airframes need to have the same type of armor.
Double Heat Sinks are not available.
All three types must be 'capable' of both Air-to-air, and air-to-mud missions.
Fuel Range is important, as is both atmospheric, and exoatmospheric manueverability.  (Minimum fuel 5 tonnes.)
Clan/post-3050 advanced tech unavailable except as ammunition.
"One shot wonders" need not apply.  (must be capable of sustained operation, minimum of 8 turns.)
you can use any non-weapon system in the book, so long as it is not Clan or Word of Blake.

Story notes: Light fighters are "Export" models, intended for sale to friendly minor powers and/or mercenaries, or as supplementary to local militias.  Medium fighters are intended as 'line' fighter/fighter interceptors.  Heavies must be capable of of sustained operations against larger targets such as dropships, but not be helpless against other fighters.
