I have this niggling feeling in the back of my head that I'm missing something.

So, AToWC pg 227.

A Battalion sized 'Merc unit (40 'Mechs) with a rep of 4 takes a Planetary assault contract for the FedSuns. The payment multiplier should be 1.5 (planetary assault) + 1.2 (Fed Suns) + 1.6 (rep 4) = 4.3. They successfully kick the OpFor off planet losing one of their 'Mechs in the process.

AToWC pg229 reputation table.

The rep should get +22 (Success 4.3 X 5, round up) + 9 (9 months Mission length) - 43 (casualties - 1 Mech 4.3 X 10) = a rep loss of 12?

What did I do wrong? Should there be more than 1 Mission in a planetary assault? Does losing the 'Mech but not the Pilot count as a casualty?

There should always be more than 1 battle in a planetary assault.
"This duty involves heavy, protracted
fighting, with contract durations of four months or longer."

The solution is just ignore Paul.
