Statting Cavalier II from TRO3150NTNU
« on: 12 August 2016, 06:55:15 »
TRO3150's NTNU section describes upgrades to several old Battle Armor but we're still lacking record sheets for them. I figured giving the Cavalier II stats is pretty easy:

Increased jump capability, Clan Standard Stealth, AP weapon mount.

Jump Booster (Body)            Squad
Anti Personnel Weapon Mount (Left arm) Squad
I went with 9 points of armor to retain the 200kg modular weapon mount capacity with two slots. The only logical way to boost jump capacity is Jump Booster. APWM is self-explanatory.
I chose a Light Recoilless Rifle here but anything that's 200kg or less fits the MWM. I could see there being some Clan-tech weapons, namely Bear Hunter Heavy AC and Clan Micro Pulse Laser. Otherwise the standard trio of Small Laser, Flamer and Machine Gun probably exist. Also, i'd expect there to be some kind of missile weapon configuration.

Overall, the suit looks pretty good. It is still susceptible to insta-kills by 10-point weapons, and vulnerable to dual Medium Laser hits but the stealth bonus helps considerably. The increased jump capacity is certainly useful even if doesn't confer any defensive capability, more speed never hurts.
