Heavy Pulse Lasers?

How would you all feel about a theoretical set of Clan heavy pulse lasers that was sort of the cousin of the original heavy laser set: same range as IS pulse lasers, increased heat, and double damage, at a -1 to hit? Would those be worthwhile?

From a fluff perspective it would be a fitting full circle from Re-engineered lasers.

From a crunch perspective I'd go 1.5 on the damage and double the heat with then -1 to hit, as IIRC ERPL did a similar split the difference.
