Having become marginally irked with the options for affordable off-board Sniper artillery support (the 50-tonner only has one ton of ammo, preventing ammo switching, and the 80-tonner is rather costly), I threw this together, based on the South African G6 mobile howitzer, but without the turret, to keep weight and cost down. If you're that far away from the fight, you can turn to face the battle. If the fight catches up with you, you should have turned tail some time ago.

And then I decided to reduce the budget further by making an ICE version. Which meant cutting the speed so I could fit the engine in without losing functionality, but which also meant that I could throw on another ton of armour, probably to a certain amount of relief among crews. Doesn't save much in BV terms, as it's pretty much equally effective, but halves the financial outlay.

Yes, they'd both need escorts, but what do you expect for low-budget rear-echelon artillery carriages?
