Camo Raven
« on: 29 May 2017, 20:55:12 »
The last time I posted a 'Mech, I told someone I was gonna do this, and now I have.  ;D

I've never been quite satisfied with the way stealth 'Mechs get painted, and I wanted to try something else entirely, so I decided to not use paint... I 'painted' with static grass, sand, and rocks. I hope this entertains you all.

Great camo, but reminds me of the Swamp Thing... ;)

And this is why I say really effective camo makes it hard to pick out details on the mini! O0

Hey, in WW2 they would cover tanks in vegetation to avoid air recon, so why not 'mechs?

I think it would be a little less so if the weapons and barrels and cockpit glass and such were exposed, and just the panels themselves were camo.  But, that might look, ironically, more like regular camo and less like stealth.  So uh, nice work!  That's a lot of detail.
