(Answered) TAG changes in the recent errata

I've got two questions regarding the changes to TAG on p. 142 TW. I suppose the answer to both of them is "Yes.", but just want to make sure.

1. Is it intentional, that a successful TAG spots the target for indirect LRM fire with all kinds of LRMs (not just semi-guided)?
2. Does an aerospace unit TAG-ing a unit also spot it for indirect fire, thus getting around the rule on p. 111, that prohibits aerospace units to spot for LRM fire under most circumstances?

It certainly makes interaction between TAG and spotting simpler.

It also makes TAG more useful, to a point that I wonder, if Battle Values of TAGs should be revised, but I'm not certain of it, if since I don't know how those values were established in the first place. Should I start a discussion in the Ground Combat forum to see what the other players think about it?

You can for fun, but there's no revision of BV in the works at the moment, so it's not something we're personally looking to track.  Cheers.

In that case, I'll just wait until there will be an "official discussion" or something like that on the forums (if it ever happens), and try to remember to remind everyone about changes like this then. It is not like I ever paid that much attention to exact BV values anyway. If anything I treat them as rough guidelines.
