During the late clan invasion era, the NAIS had been investigating new technologies, and had managed to get their hands on a custom Hoplite chassis built with endo steel, and covered in light ferro-fibrous armour (maximum amount).

Testing specialised ammo, they fitted an AC20, with 3 tons of CASE II protected ammo, and 2 SRM 4's with 1 ton of CASE II protected ammo (in the same bin). Also 4 jump jets were installed in the left torso to increase maneuverability.

In essence the NAIS created a nasty guerilla mech that was effective in close quarters city fighting.

Later during the Jihad years, the weapons were replaced with clan spec SRM 4's and a clan spec UAC20. Eventually it was destroyed, but it took a lot of blakists with it.
