Victory Industries presented the DCMS a new version of the venerable Wolverine. Dubbed the Mk IV, the Wolverine IV is both a sniper and a hole seeker.
Packing a pair of fusigon shorttooth Light PPC's for range, and 4 Ayukawa "Slapper" 6 rack SRM's, with 4 tons of CASE II protected ammo for close encounters, the mech, packs a solid punch at short range.
The movement profile remains the same with a top speed of just over 80kph, and a max jump range of a 150 metres.
A new verson of the venerable Crucis-A chassis is used dubbed the "-E", as it is now endo steel.
CASE II protects the mech from catastrophic destruction, and to continue to function even with an ammo blow out.
10.5 tons of armour protect the mech, and 20 double heat sinks is sufficient if the mechwarrior employs good bracket firing technique.
A more recent variant swapps the SRMs for clan streak SRMs only utilising 3 tons of ammo however, allowing for a capacitor to be added to one of the Shorttooth PPCs, giving it more punch for more heat.
