Title: Do we have mini-standards now?
Post by: Domi1981 on 20 January 2017, 08:32:16
What I´m wondering about is this, in the past we had no reliable standard for miniature size. Somehow light mechs were smalle than heavy mechs but then we had minis like the Blood Asp which is gigantic compared to all my other assault minis.
So my question is do we have or will we get a standard with minis sometime in the future? Or do we already have a standard for size?

Pretty much the new stuff of recent years (minus one or two problem children) are sized as close to a standard that there is. There will never be a published xyz scale list but we work of what has been put together on our qcc forum.

Will any of those ideas be published? Is this an internal forum?

No they will not be published, they used on our internal QCC forum for our sculptor to reference and decisions to be made before sculpting begins for height of the mechs.
