I haven't even seen Pics up for the Agrotera, and the First quarter releases.

Have you seen the Aggie yet?   ???

That's a poor choice of paint scheme to use for the store.  It obscures too much.

Agreed, but it *is* a sharp color scheme when in person. And I'm not just saying that because it's the exact same scheme I used for my Aggie.

That is just their temp picture until one of the CSO guys paints one up...then they will use that.

Ah, screw it. I had been waiting for it to go live on CSO, but things have been a little off-kilter with updates. AFAIK, the first take on the Sian Dragoons scheme too.

Agreed Joel.  Here's the Gurteltier tank.  I can't say enough good things about the miniature.  It's simple, intimidating and decently sized.

Lovely! That's a nice lookin' beast there. How big did it end up being? Like, compared to other beefy tanks like the Behemoth or Demolisher II?

Much better photo of the Agrotera and as usual a fantastic paint job, Psycho!  I've got one ordered to add to my 3045 House Hiritsu and this photo makes me glad I bought it.   ;)

Ooooh!  I like that tank.  Very impressive paint job, too.  I may buy one just to paint it up, seeing as I don't have any Lyran, FedSun or Republic units it would fit in.

Wow, both are beautiful.  Lots more edge highlighting than I’ll ever do.

Savage Coyote, how did you do the mud/weathering on the tank?  I’d love to add that touch to my minis, but it’s hard to do right on such a small scale.

Psycho's choice of colors does show off the model a lot better, but for store pics I still prefer a black wash on bare metal.

Why?

I'm trying to find a better way to put this, but the best I can come up with is I'm looking to buy the miniature, not the paint job.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a well painted mini.  Every day I check out new posts in the minis section of the forums and I check CSO for updates several times through out the week, but when I'm shopping IWM, I much prefer to see just the model itself.  After all, that's what I'm shopping for.  I don't mind the black wash because that helps show off the model's details that might otherwise get lost in a smaller photo.

Paint doesn't bother me so much on larger scale plastic kits, but for small metal minis I find the bare metal just sells the mini to me better(when shopping).

I have to agree with DarkSpade to a degree.  I love seeing some of those professional level paint jobs on a mech, and I'll admit a good paint job has sold me more than once.  Bare metal with a black wash, however, is the best way to really check out the miniature and all its details.

See speck's announcement

I want a Stalker II mini, nevermind that I already have three Stalker minis (two that require stripping and repainting and one that is still in its blue Battletech Ral Partha blister pack), a lance of Stalkers to anchor the centre of my combat line  >:D

Yeah Thanks Grud, and bought & painted a ZeusX4 too. She's a beaut of a mini.

Just waiting on the Stalker pics now... But they're available to Buy at show, so, surely must be some kicking about soon! :)

Well I want one and I have always turned my nose up at the Stalker.

I am wondering if all the laser emitters on the model came out the same size?  I don't know if you have that ability using 3D images.

My BT weapon geek is asking... :))

Thanks
