P. 102 Rapid-fire Mode

Aside from the problem with the way the rules tell to determine ammo consumption (I already a note this to TO and BMM errata threads), the rules say, that Rapid-fire machine guns do not inflict increased damage on conventional infantry, but don't specify how much heat they generate and how much ammo they consume when used in this fashion. I guess they would still consume an increased amount of ammo and generate extra heat, but the rules don't really say one or the other way. So do they?

No extra damage vs. standard infantry.  Standard (i.e. increased) heat and ammo usage still, though.
