Some updates:

Two things.

1. MSPaintAdventures is my new favorite webcomic of all time. Problem Sleuth is delightful, and I just caught up on Homestuck and JEGUS CHRIST is it an intricate and complex setting he has created. It's slow at first when everything seems random and haphazard but eventually things start to coalesce and you begin to see that while it's profoundly wacky, it's profoundly wacky with established rules and guidelines.

2. There's a BattleTech reference in the news post for...um...tomorrow's Questionable Content. Unless something else has ERPPCs.

Sounds like he's describing a Warlord variant.

Read it and laughed, its also the second shout out to Battletech, there was an early one where a ED-209 wannabee came looking for pintsize and he mentions battletech below.  ;D

I also smiled when our Doug Glendower once had a shot at a mini-interview with Jeph Jacques.

Now that QC has pushed me into this area of the forums, here's a list of what I read regularly, newcomers to this thread in bold:

Active

Gunnerkrigg Court - so glad it's already featured prominently on this thread. Been reading it since it was first linked to by QC (like chapter 4 or 5) and it is easily my all-time favourite. Truly special.
Magellan - this was one of my personal "1st generation" webcomics, I've been reading it since it first became freely accessible, sometime during chapter 1. Note that this went online before the film Sky High was released. :D The guy also has a comic strip that's something of a soap opera with nudists; much more safe for work than one would expect, but I still won't list it here.
The Noob - I was glad to find this as it carried me over Elf Only Inn's hiatus and later demise. Primitive art but very, very funny stuff.
Jump Leads - Alternate universe scifi humour ftw! I almost didn't put this one up as it has sporadic updates at best. But yesterday the rather unprecedented step was taken to post a non-coloured page, so I'm guessing the intention's there to continue.
Questionable Content - I actually feel this one's past its prime. But it's awesome for always having updates, no matter what. And JJ has linked to a few other webcomics that immediately became favourites of mine.
Gisele Lagace - her work is too inane (Penny and Aggie, especially once she left...) or NSFW/mature (uh yeah) to be linked here. I do enjoy some of it (the latter, I guess) immensely, so this is a kudos listing.
Bobby Crosby - I do/did follow some of his stuff, but again, too specific to be listed, and I only check it out sporadically.

Finished/Abandoned

anders loves maria - another comic which I found thanks to QC/JJ. This one is borderline nsfw at times, but it is a deeply meaningful comic and doesn't devolve into frivolities and the art also doesn't really qualify for a non-listing. This one is a truly touching story and is actually finished, hence its listing here is satisfying rather than frustrating.
Elf Only Inn - guh, this is the frustrating one. Of course, it won't be as funny these days anymore when forums have lost their.... hah! Not so, considering the place on which I'm posting! :) Elf Only Inn was forum-based humour, went on a loooong hiatus and returned in v2 as MMORPG-based humour. It took a while to get used to the latter, but it was ok (albeit not quite as good as v1), and The Noob has picked up the slack. Still a total bummer to see this one abandoned.
A Heart Made of Glass - finished/abandoned. I've been aware of this one for the best part of a decade, but upon revisiting during the break-up of hellTM 2 years ago, I found nothing could reflect my feelings as well as this little comic. + listing it here is an homage to an artist whose magnum opus cannot be listed.

Thanks for remembering, Jymset.

I'm not sure QC's "past it's prime", it's just one that comes and goes with whatever story he's working on. Right now he's kinda in the "day to day" interludes mode, and that tends to be just a bit less interesting.

Erfworld's still a-number one in my book, along with Order of the Stick. That said, I'm totally sold on Between Failures. It's a bit like Clerks, only with a bit more positivism and inherently more likeable people... except for Reggie. Grrrr.

I guess I should post my full list.

Penny Arcade
Order of the Stick
Erfworld
Least I Could Do
Looking For Group
Homestuck
Questionable Content
Something Positive
Schlock Mercenary
Oglaf
Ctrl-Alt-Del
XKCD
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Cyanide & Happiness

Wow. That seems like a lot less when I don't list them all at once. I think I might have a problem.

My newest "find" and I immediately loved it! - is it safe to list these types of adult humour comics? :-X

Lovecraft is Missing  ...

I slowly dropped off from reading Lovecraft is Missing almost a year ago.

I'll need to remedy that one of these days.

I did, actually. I read through the entire archive and then followed it for a week or two, then kinda forgot about it and now I don't remember enough to get back into it.

I'm pretty sure I first heard about it on the old forums. I sure wouldn't put it in a link, but, c'mon. I've seen people reference 4chan here, and that's infinitely worse.

Excellent, just testing the waters. I found Sexy Losers to be incredibly funny and intelligent and its complete lack of taste was a very effective mechanism. And Lagace's Menage a 3 is good for a chuckle or three. There, that completes my list! :)

I followed the Girls With Slingshots when they had a crossover with Something Positive but lost interest soon after.
As for finished comics:
Casey and Andy - two crazy scientists roommates
Chopping Block - the life and work of serial killer Butch R. Mann

Just yesterday I got read through one of the best web comics I know of. Artwork isn't the top, but it has great story that is great fun to read. Without too much spoilers, it goes something like this:

Hunter is swept by the floods

Boy prepares for journey to find his lost father

He is accompanied by his trusty pet dragon Myhrad

Brave swordswoman Ayne

And troublesome pixie Feiht

On their journey they encounter hungry trolls

Furious furies

Blue skinned Amazons

Knight in shining armor

Bard who is king

Historians

Powerful titan

Wizards

Choices

Traditions

Cliches

Misconceptions

And many problems

But no adversities can stop our adventurers from looking for more adventures

Help those in need

And fight against oppression and tyranny

All that, april jokes and more:

not technically a web comic, but I'm enjoying reading Memos From Fury

Parodies fantasy RPGs. Be warned: reading it causes significant risk of dying for laughter!

Not bad, but a little sloppy with the coding- there should be a page for the current comic and there doesn't seem to be.

Just click on the Latest. It's below comic page image.

Yeah, I saw that, but it takes me to a URL that's unique to a particular page.  Most webcomics have a dedicated "current page" page that automatically updates for easier bookmarking.
