Does HM lite handle the 10-15 range for protomechs yet?

Not that I'm aware of. As far as I know, the only Protomech designer that handles any of the new stuff (Ultra heavy protos, Quad protos, Glider protos, heavy weapons on protos) is the one I'm making, and it's only 95% complete.

If you want something designed, send me the specs, and I'll run it through my designer.

95%?

Is that 5% the OMG THIS THING SUX if you release it without part? Because that sounds like it's done right now.

Bugs:

BV calclulation isn't implemented
Cbill cost is wrong, I think
No record sheet output (all you can get is a TRO-style printout)
EDP armor isn't implemented
The odd bug involving just what weapons are allowed in what area (IE, melee weapons being mountable in the torso)
Can't save in a fashion that the program can load in a new session

Everything else seems to work fine.

I'm not happy about releasing it publicly until I can trim that bug list down, but if you PM me your email address, I'll send you the current version.

I'd be interested in that too, actually.

Same here, when can we download it?

Actually I'd like to see it as well.
Be the Loremaster:

Battletech transport rules take a very feline approach to moving troops in a combat zone: If they fits, they ships.

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your BT experience. Now what? (Thanks Sartis!)

Since I last posted, I got a new job- a night shift one. So progress has been rather slow, as I'm still trying to adjust to sleeping through the day. (It's not as easy as cats make it look).

Still, there has been some progress. I fixed a few bugs, and I'm about 1/3rd of the way through implimenting a proper save function, which the designer can load.

I'd be interested in trying the alpha (or whatever the buggy/incomplete/no-save-function build is called). It'd be interesting to test out.

That's debatable, but let's face it; some folks gave them a pass because they were big and claimed to be Scottish.

Hello all.

It's been far too long coming, but I've got a public release of my Protomech Designer ready.

Known bugs:
Minor errors in the Record Sheets
Does not create a save file the program can load (it still makes record sheets and TROs)
BV not implemented

If you see any other bugs I haven't mentioned here, please PM me. (No point in clogging up the thread with bug reports)

Great! It could do with the magnetic clamp system though! I'll let you know if I spot any bugs.

My Comp says it can't find the "ProtoGui" and auto-exits.

Can anyone who finds a bug please PM me with it, instead of posting the bug here? I don't wanna clog up the thread.
