Just snagged Second Succession War. While there's still plenty more to read, I really liked the intro fiction. Although the topic has been hinted at previously, it's nice to see a couple of very important people acting not like backstabbing power hungry monsters. Oh there's still plotting ahoy, but to me it's a refreshing take on things.

Got the PDF just now, will buy the paper book once it becomes widely available. I may be guilty of skipping straight to the money shot though, I went straight to the back to drool over the TRO artwork, and I can't wait to be able to buy miniatures of those lovely 'mechs. The Classics redesigns are great - they are still clearly what they are, just sharpened up for modern times.

Is the PDF on DTRPG or CGL Store?

Got it! And I see they fixed the BattleMaster entry. Yay!

Is there a PDF+hardcopy option on DruveThruRPG or just PDF?

Drive Thru RPG has never offered the book + PDF option, only the Catalyst store.

I got it!  Woohoo!

Now correct me if I am wrong, but before the website issue, didn't Adrian say something about a compilation TRO at GenCon?  If I am correct, would this TRO be available in PDF as well?

News to me.  A compilation of what, exactly?

I can't say that I recall seeing that.

Unless this is just a clever plan to trick CGL into believing that it is supposed to be working on a compilation TRO.

That doesn't sound right. Last year saw a limited run of a compilation of BattleCorps stories.

That is correct. Technical Readout: Star League & Succession Wars. A 'Mech-only compilation. More for newer players, it's 95% reprinted material. I will make a PDF available, with a ginormous disclaimer. There are 90 reprinted entries (including new classic art for some), and new art/entries for the Flea, Galahad and Banshee, and a new introduction.

Ah, then color me wrong. It sounds like a nice companion to the BattleMech Manual.

Sort of a greatest hits of TRO 2750 and 3025? Sounds cool. I'm sure we older fans will grab it up too, so we don't have to look through all those pesky vehicles ;)

New Banshee art?

Guess i'll buy the SSW PDF even though i did note i don't particularly like reading from display... But looks like it will take some time before the physical book hits stores here.

Is there any ETA for TRO Star League & Succession Wars (TRO:SLSW)? Like "Soon" or "This year" or "with BMM"?

Is the contents of TRO Star League & Succession Wars going to be essentially the same as in TRO: 3039?  Aside from updated art for some units and the intro?
