Yep.

Cannot make a call out because of the disturbing nuscance I'm making!

Looked up Super HPG in Jihad Hot Spots: 3076 for the idea.

Ah

I thought you meant messing with the jump-detection sensors to spoof or jam them.

Don't think one can do that, unless....

Mini-jump? Like starting a jump but not finishing it?

Can Naval class ECM be used to " ghost " targets, like regular ECM?

TT

(EDIT): And yes you can!

Ghost Targets and most naval special gear is in TacOps. But more advanced naval rules are in Strategic Ops

Yay!

Now what is the opinion on Naval C3 Networks? Would that have the potential for a game-changing advantage vs a very large warship?

It effectively is C3i. The nature of the environment makes the bonuses work differently for different weapon classes.

Worth it?

Maaayyyybe. On big big ships it cuts into your throw weight a lot. It is based on weapon tonnage so big guns means a big computer.
I like it on DropShips. More managable mass. No bracketing for conventional weapons so the accuracy bonuses are very welcome because they make long range fire practical.

Oh wow; I was reading the rules as the tonnage being calculated as a % of mass of the ship.

1% of vessel mass plus double the fire control.

Big ships done to modern standards have lots of fire control.
DropShips struggle to mount enough weapons, especially sub caps, to need fire control.

So you can see how the costs ramp up quickly with size.

Okay, this is more in line with what I thought it was.

I am imagining Scrooge McDuck in an ocean sized money bin.

And note that in canon?  This is precisely what happeend to some ships--The operating states simply could no longer afford the cost of operating the ship, or, given how unsuccessful attempts were to bring them back into service to face the clans, even effectively mothball them.
