Infantry question.

With the assualt clan infantry, I know they are usually failed or retired elementals, but in game wise, would they be usually 4/5 or 3/4? Like are elementals used as infantry outside the suits?

Pretty sure the answer is in TW.  IIRC the Clan rule is everything that's not Mechwarriors, Elementals, or ASFs get a default skill of one worse than normal.

Even if the conventional infantry is former elementals, it makes sense to me that their skill sucks in comparison to elementals due to not being equipped with the materiel they spent a lifetime training with.
