It is a nicely proportioned mini- I think it could do to be a bit bigger since it is not much larger than the Commando but it is closely matched by the plastic Spider and Hermes from the into box and a tad thicker than my Pack Hunter and Solitaire.

Nice, someone else put together all the mechs for the new Black Widows, I finally got my last one to finish the company last month, thanks to TS_Hawk. Now I just have to build them.

I see your doing mods, as I haven't really looked at loadouts for the mechs of th BW company, are your mods for how their mechs loadouts are per canonical loadouts?

Most of the mods are subtle pose changes and others to make them match configs. A few I went all in and some others I went close enough due to time constraints before use.

It is a great mod and a nice miniature. However, I'm afraid it is somewhat off, the center of gravity is too front canted and away from the feet. The effect is not realistic (yes, I know I'm talking about a 12 meter stompy robot) and may break the overall impression. Moving the left leg to have the feet of the left side closer to the front of the mech than the right side would solve this and then the mini will rock hard. Even more.

Have you seen the new king crab? Its so ****** off balance that without a large base, it CANNOT stand upright! Here it is with the shockwave and carronade, but this view doesn't do it justice. If you see a back view, this beautiful mechs horrible legs are oddly jointed, spindly, and horribly positioned. Its ridiculous.

I will take that into consideration.

I have one of the DA crabs too (soo many jokes) and I do not mind it. Although, I do like my modded one better. I am fighting the temptation of cutting up my other unmodded original king crab.

I used the following:

1 sprue reseen warhammer upper arm  - 20-201 D
2 sprue hammerhands rac arm - 20-443RACARM
seraph / archangel legs - 20-407B
primitive shadowhawk gun - not the scrap yard but you might be able to email them for it.

Psycho's is a bit different on the lower arm. He used parts of the warhammer arm. I went with the hammerhands rac arm since it had the same feel with less work.

I have been working on the Raptor Keshik for an upcoming game. The scheme is inspired by IK's scheme.

The scheme is very good looking, congratulations!

However, I see a flaw in the yellow highlights. It is very clear in the Shrike. The problem is that yellow pigments are not thick enough and they don't cover properly a dark color. I had a hell of a time the first time I did this. If you paint the base of the yellow panel in white or light brown (better the last option) you will get better pigment coverage and a  more uniform color. Good luck!

I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of the new APCs. They look terrible, and compared to minis like the micro armor ranges of GHQ and CinC, they just don't stand up. Those are sculpted under a microscope with exquisite detail, while these are cartoonish.

To each their own. I painted a lance of each motive type and used them in a campaign last weekend. They served their purpose as I needed 40 civilian vehicles for the track.

I have been neglecting this thread for awhile. So, time to reactive it.

I have been active doing other things  besides mechs.

Here is my build gallery for an Overlord dropship.

I build a bridge that was used on the show Death From Above on the HyperRPG twitch channel. Here is a gallery for that.

This is a bunch of Snow Ravens I am working on for a campaign. Disregard some of the weird arm choices. Many parts are magnetized and the arms are just hanging where ever.

A lance of minis for a local player as I cleared out my painting backlog. I still have a bit more detail work and sealing.

Are these representing a particular unit, or just a generic set of 'mechs?  Are you using metallic blue paint for the cockpit windows?

Also, jbressel, that Mech Bay is looking great.  Can you provide details on where you got the parts and people from?  Are the techs 6mm?

Can't wait for the finished pics.   O0

The bay is built, mostly, from Zoids Mech Bay, and Repair Bay parts, and those people are N-scale, but they were replaced by smaller, Z-scale techs from the Herpa Scenics Airforce Ground Crew box.
