It is a nice looking ship proof of concept. Even if it never worked out.

This was the third nuclear-powered civilian ship (after a Russian icebreaker and Savannah), the German cargo vessel Otto Hahn as commissioned in 1968:



Unlike Savannah, the reactor was removed in 1979 and she was subsequently rebuilt; a really major rebuilding - rear superstructure removed, midships superstructure moved aft to create a large container deck (she was originally a bulk ore freighter). She then continued to sail the seas with various owners under the names Trophy/Norasia Susan/Norasia Helga/Carmen/Hua Kang He/Anais/Tal/Madre until 2009.
