Hedgehog APC as BT support vehicle?

I have several Reaper miniatures Hedgehog APCs, in the true scle version.



I am considering designing stats for it to use as a Battle Armor VTOL. While I was contemplating the standard vehicle rules at first. The model is quite large and this lead me to think of the support vehicle rules.  Here is a comparison picture to various Forge world epic (6-8mm) models.



Do you think the model is large enough to be a support VTOL, or can the standard combat vehicle rules apply.

Can someone provide the latest Cardinal VTOL dimensions, from IWM? That would make an interesting comparison.

But it can be armored and armed like a combat.

See the "Super-Heavy Vehicle" rules on page 378 of TacOps.  That allows VTOLs up to 60 tons in weight while remaining combat vehicles.  That way you're not restricted to a support vehicle with BAR armor.

Can you put it next to another BT mini for size comparison.

If its too large to be a Vtol, then from the looks of it, Small Craft/Shuttle would be a solid option.
Something like the the Battletaxi or Lyonesse other new ones that have come out.

Once I found the Super heavy rules I made a 60 ton Vtol that I believe will work well.

It carries 20 Battle Armor, but no weapons.

I get a comparison to other BT models.

As requested here are comparisons to other BT vehicles.  Let me know if you guys think it fits as a Super heavy VTOL (60 tons) or as a support vehicle.

60 Ton Vtol or 100 Ton shuttle,  I think either would work.

I had forgotten just how utterly monstrous the Thunderhawk was in size.    Interested though to see how this support vehicle turns out.

After reading the support vehicle section...support Vtols are max out at 60 so I am looking at making it a Aerospace small craft, ala Space above and beyond.

Could always make it a 100t shuttle built using the Fighter rules.

As an ASF it'll loose some endurance in fuel use, but for short planetary drops and assaults, it would work.
