Hi,
I was recently talking to Son of Kerenski, who started the "standing in water with no armor" thread, and we both felt there is an issue that hasn't been totally clarified.

I note in the new v2.3 errata the following definitions are provided:
Quote
Submerged Units: A unit in water deep enough to cover the unit’s entire height, such as a ’Mech unit standing in water 2 or more inches in depth, is completely submerged (see Unit Heights, p. 99). A unit in water at least 1” deep, but less than the unit’s height (such as a ’Mech unit standing in 1”-deep water) is partially submerged. Units on the surface of the water (such as a hovercraft or naval vessel) are not submerged.

In the previous thread, the following passage from p.39 of the Alpha Strike rulebook was pointed out:
Quote
If a submerged unit loses all of its armor, it automatically sinks and is considered destroyed.

In line with the definitions from the errata, could you please advise if a unit that is "partially submerged" is considered destroyed if it loses all of its armor?

Partially submerged is not submerged, so a unit that is partially submerged is not destroyed with 0 armor.
Issued errata to add completely to the underwater damage rule to make it more specific that it requires completely submerged.
