Tried out basing them... meh..sort of satisfied, probably need to use sand instead, looks like a toupee to me on the base.

I dig it. The Dervish is one of my favorites despite the fact that it's a horribly flawed design.
-
wow, they really look great. nice job man.
-
Dude, totally digging the detail on that hunchback!
-
Those look great! Nice job!

nope definately first class all the way, no toupee,
excellent gold plating in the cockpits, marble command couches
absolutely first class

Great job [rockon]

Really nice work on these, the highlights are great.
-
Bee-utiful job! :)

Excellent paint job. Plastics right?
Now lets get down to brass tacks. The tactical composition of the unit doesn't seem very sound. You've got 2 long range mechs, one short range and one harasser. How would you play this unit?
Don't stray too far from your supply station.

it could work, the assassin can spot/recon, the hunchie is bodyguard, and the other 2 both arm LRM users with decent in close weapons, I would swap one of the dervishes SRM ammo bays to LRMs tho, who uses 2 tons for 2 srm2s?
my only worry is the hunchie is too slow for the rest of the lance, maybe a griffon of wolverine would be better suited, although not as scary :-)

very cool 8)

That Hunchback looks awesome, the whole group looks good....especially for plastics.

I will be honest, composition was not in my mind when i did the lance. I chose what looked cool IMHO.
I suppose being a mercenary unit they would have no choice in what units they field, whatever is salvaged they use no?
But in the long run i will consider those things, i'm still to new to Btech to understand the intricacies of unit compositions compliments.

it can still work, especially if you use a different version of the hunch,
there is one with an ac10 so its longer ranged, or 2 lrm10s
the driver just has to hustle more, later you can drop a jumper in
as a replacement
