That's pretty snazzy airfield, you should pitch it to CGL as part their new maps their coming out with!!

Funny thing, was when i glanced :D at it when i went to the posting, it looked like a silhouette of a space station.

Gives you an excuse to make some of the Jihad: Terra buildings! Which would lead you to Brain Castles and such!

So, board almost done, just needs the hexes put on.

I made the Air Strips 9 hexes long, but TOTAL WARFARE, page 87, has a conventional landing strip at 8 hexes long, so, I'm probably gonna repaint the ends to make them 8 hexes long.

Anywho, here are a couple of shots, one without any features, the second showing some buildings, landing pads, etc on the board to giver a sence of scale.

I'd keep the ninth hex and proclaim it as a turnabout or a holding position.

Looks good!

When's this gonna be on Evilbay?  #P

OK, except for two hex boards I'll need to paint with hexes by hand ...

How did you paint the rest of the hexes on the boards?

I have a HEX TEMPLATE from Litko, lay flat, spray with Black paint, wipe clean, reposition, lather-rinse-repeat.

But this work only if the board is flat...put a hill on, and the template can be placed in some areas properly, and as a result need to do those hexes by hand :(
