Taking cue from some of Cannonshop's contests, and older ones done by other people, let's see you guys' take on one of the humbler but all-essential components of a properly supported Aerospace group. Let's see who can build the best tanker to support a Squadron or Point of Aerospace assets
May Not: Be a dropship or a support Aircraft-air breathers and carriers need not apply.
Must: Carry at least 18(IS) or 30 (clan) tons of fuel AS CARGO.
Should: Carry as much fuel as practical, ideally enough to completely refill the tanks of a 'typical' fighting unit.
10 Points for Good Fluff.
3 points for each extra ton per fighter carried (6 fighters per Inner Sphere Squadron, 10 per Clan Star., you do the math.)
4 points for matching the refueled range of fighters with the unrefueled range of your Tanker
2 points for a 'good' self-defense capability. I'll know it when I see it.
