(Answered) Maintenance Cycles and Linked Scenarios
« on: 05 May 2013, 06:57:53 »
p.166 of StratOps, under TIME, states that players have 8 hours between each scenario to conduct maintenance/repair.  However, the linked scenarios rules state that only 1 order may be given to each element per day; meaning that if I give an element a fight order, I would not be able to give it a repair order until the following day.  Which is correct?

The players or GM decides the timeframe.  So when you have a Turn time of one day you can say it gives you 8 hours of repairs or you can say it gives you 24 hours of work.  Or you can use 6 Hour turns which gives a 6 Hour repair Time.

The writer could not know if the players are fighting for a small village or the whole planet, or if they use companies or RCTs.

Does that clarify things?
