Got these little beauties in and wanted to do a size comparison with some mechs and Ravager BA. They at large, but I think they would have lost detail if they went smaller.

Damm those things are HUGE!
-
Size wise they look like protos
-
What size bases are they mounted on?

They are on 25mm round bases, I had leftover from my 40k days.

heck, I am wondering what tubes he used for the Emperor . . . looked neat.

They are Hawk Widgets , I also use them for my aerospace mini's. 8)

FYI...when these were shown at GenCon, the Marauder B.A. were mounted on Battleforce Hex Bases!
-
Very nice.
-
Wow, those could almost pass for Inner Sphere protomechs ;) ;D :P
-
The Ravagers look excellent Saint! Can't wait to get mine and the Marauders from our order. :)
-
Yeah, I'm never buying those.
Way too huge to be used as game pieces, which is the first consideration for my purchases. If I can't fit a squad on a hex base, it just doesn't work for me. They do look like protomechs as far as scale goes.
I don't think they would have lost any detail if they had gone smaller. If you doubt me, just take a look at nearly any of the modern minis on the GHQ site, they truly are amazing.
Sad, because I like their game play stats and would use a squad or two to bodyguard some of my support units, or to ride in on a fast light to speedbump an area of the battlefield.
-
As Saint is using them, 1 figure to a base to represent a squad is good for me. I can even use them as proxy Protos. :)
Meh, I'm easy. ;)

Protomechs are faster and more flexible, but these huge Battle Armors certainly seem to be about the same size. Those Marauder and Ravager Battle Armors are pretty neat, if you ask me.

I received some, and I am getting annoyed by the open space between the shoulders and the torso. What would the best correcting measure?
-
Which ones? and for something that is supposed to be nearly 3m tall . . . not sure its that off compared to the mechs.

The upper part of the Marauder BA doesn't fit well on the lower part, it is a very irregular surface on both sides. I suspect that this will require some filing down and putty to get an optimum visual quality.

ZOMG those are adorable! Off to IWM to check prices!

Here are a couple all painted up and ready for war!
