Jim, I checked the Techmanual about the salvage we got from the Striker turret.  We get 100k for the LRM 10 and 80k from the SRM 6 (for a grand total of 180k), giving each of us 90k in salvage from today's game.
Sounds good to me. O0

First come, first served, I say.   :))

Anthony, I want to confirm my purchase of the Hawk Moth Gunship, the Blizzard Hover Transport (std.) and the FNHK-9K Falcon Hawk 'Mech.  I totalled this all up and I do have enough C-bills in the bank to make this transaction.  It will cost me 8,158,799 C-Bills of my current 9,148,750 C-Bills (this includes the 90k I got from the salvaged Striker turret), leaving me with 989,951 C-Bills in the bank.  BTW, what is Metalstorm's going rate for Ferro-Fibrous Armor per ton (with the mark-up)?  I may need some more than what I have given the fact that these toys do use FF armor.

Merry Christmas,

Dave

Private Line Communication
To: Major Kiah Franks
From: Colonel Euron Greyjoy

Based on most recent revelations, I believe we may need to review the bios and histories of all personnel we have hired from the native population.  Given the secretive nature of our adversaries, we may be harboring enemy agents within our midst and not even know it.  As I have no Capellan personnel trained in Maskirovka-style tactics within my unit, I would like to ask if any of your people have any connections to Loki (or who are former agents of the organization) who could assist in ferreting out any infiltrators.  Failing that, I would like petition the governor's husband if he can spare any former or current ISF agents for certain "inquisitive" purposes.  We need to make sure our people are, in fact, on our side and not working for the enemy.

Secondly, I have been informed by Tristan Botley (Lorren's father and the head of the Botley family) that his second son, Tristifer (Lorren's younger brother) is coming out to Nejiro to join the Ironborn.  He will be arriving likely in mid-February with his own machine, a 'Mech of currently unknown type and tonnage.  Tristan couldn't give me the details, but the Ironborn will soon have a new mechwarrior on-planet.  I may also be calling up a member of my own family soon given my purchase of a Falcon Hawk 'Mech from Metalstorm.  I will keep you informed of developments as they happen.

What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger!

Euron Greyjoy

Oh, one last thing, Anthony.  I am putting my Bravo Infantry Platoon (the heavy weapons squad) and their trusty Goblin into the Advanced Infantry Training program once my Delta Platoon is back from their Base Security course.  Delta will then be placed on guard duty for my Gauss slug factory/machine shop.

Shad,
I'd like to sell one of my Schiltrons and haggle hard with Metalstorm for it.  With the proceeds, I would like to purchase the MRM Carrier, Pegasus MRM, and Blizzard SRM.  I'd like his prices for three tons of thunder-LRM ammo.  With the remainder and funds in my account, I'd like to buy the Piranha and Griffin 2C from the Sharks.  I'd like to know about their mark-ups on weapons.

someone got the Griffin already.

I would keep the Schiltrons, look into the different pods. The B and C pods give a lit of fire power and will cost less then the other toys. If you want MRM's the A has them 2 MRM 40 and 2 MRM 10

all clan weapons are 1.75 over list. all IS weapons made on world are list any thing from Metal Storm is 1.25 over list.

I'll do nothing with the Schiltron, then.  It's speed makes it useless for anything except guarding the base.  I'll just purchase the MRM carrier, Pegasus MRM, and Piranha.  What were the Diamond Sharks asking for the Piranha?  Are MRM munitions and thunder LRMs made on-world?  I'd also like to look into buying the superfast hoverbikes that are made on-world. Do we have any indications that the Sharks are leaving anytime soon?

I am not looking to talk you out of selling it, just pointing out you have other ways to go. Also keep in mind that the B A now riding it will need transport. As for speed it is just as fast as your Alacorn. Run it as the B with all them L R M 15s it will be something to use as an escort vehicle.

No special ammo made on world.
M R Ms are to new to be made on world.
They may not go into production as we do not have a big calling for them.

I will post up the price for both after I get home.

The Diamond Sharks just setup a trading post here so they are not going away soon.

I had mixed feelings about selling one of them anyway. I wanted to buy the Blizzard for the BA. I won't concern myself with that for the time being.

One week later, I will be hosting an alpha strike event at Brother's Grimm at the usual time:
In the Wolf Clan sourcebook, it tells us that "...Clan Wolf warriors at times deliberately left their accompanying Nagas unprotected to face Inner Sphere mechs alone.  It is a testament to the skills of the MechWarriors piloting the inferior Naga that most survived those encounters."
In this game, we will see if there is any truth in that quote.  A medium/heavy Level 2(6 units) and surviving elements of a recon Level 2 will attempt to destroy a star of Nagas left alone in the mountains of Tukayyid.
Bring your dice and an alpha strike rulebook if you have one.  The rulebook is not required.  Everything else will be provided, although you will have to bring your own food.  Sorry.  The game begins at 1pm.

The Buffalo cargo vehicle costs 905,250 Cbills to make.  What will it cost me to buy another on this world?

I computed it using the Techmanual.
Chassis-            75,000
Engine-           164,500
Armor (Bar 2)     1,900
                               241,400
Final structural cost     X 1.25
                                 301,750
Final cost formula          X 3
                                  905,250

Also, I'd like to buy the 3 ton gyro.  I would also like to buy 4 hoverbikes and 6 tons of the MRM-20 ammo.  The ammo wholesales at 5000 C/ton.  I'd like to know how much the ammo and Buffalo will cost in total.

If you want to buy one no problem. It will take a month to get on world. It will cost 10% over because of shipping.

The hover bikes will take three months to get. They have a backlog on orders for them.
I will post the price when I get home.
Same for the ammo.

hover bikes are 79,356 each
MRM ammo is 6,250 per ton

Now that I'm buying them, can I have stats for the hoverbikes?
