Okay, because Bully is calling the deployment for the Dragon's Clutch, it's a little different than called for...

Alpha:     Cougar/B with Kage Armor (Shiro/Ranmaru), Saracen (Kowalski), Vulcan (Dusty)

Beta:       Hellhound (Bully), Bandit/A with IS BA ("Rash" Hampton), Vedette

Gamma:  Warhammer-6D (Nakamura), Bulldog, Blackjack-OA with IS BA (Cannon)

Ready 5:  Divine Rage, at Musashi Estate awaiting transport as necessary

Base guards:   Everything else.  LRM Carrier, UrbanMech, Panther, Wolfhound, Griffin IIc, Kestrel, MASH Unit, Ares, Donar, Svantovit, Asshur, Savannah Master, Saladin, J. Edgar, and assorted infantry;

Most of it Green or worse skillwise...

Oh, and Dawn, if Damon has actually been interested in Mechwarrior-dom, he's offered a seat in one of the mechs, probably the Griffin-IIc

Euron looks at Bully's list of assets and is insanely jealous.  How did you afford so much Clan tech?

Well, in character most of this gear isn't listed except for the deployed assets...

Out of character, Bully and Grandmother can spend money like nobody's business...  Grandmother has a nice Savings plan put together for the next two years or so to rebuild her reserves.  Bully did convince her that spending the money now while things are coming apart is a better idea than having money and not being able to use it productively.

In the city of Port Leon and his team have been keeping out of sight for the last few weeks.
“Boss this not looking to find what we are looking for thing is boring.”
“Mick you know the job is not all go all the time. Sometimes we have to move slow.”
“I understand but it does not help.”
“Hay we keep our cool and the other guys make the mistakes, right”
“We have something Boss.”
“What do you have Grace?”
“You see the crew working on the building down the block.”
“Yes.”
“Well they have been on that one for the last few days.”
“OK.”
“They have done nothing. They work on the same spot every day.”
“Are you sure of this?”
“I was just going over the vids of the area for the last week and these guys are in the same spot and nothing has changed.”
“OK so team time to have a talk with them. I do want them to talk so … “
“We get it don’t break them.”

“Nejiro control to command we have changes on the inbound tracks.”
“Command to control, what are the changes.”
“Sir three of the tracks are accelerating and we now have a fourth track. We have marked it Delta.”
“Control so how do you now have four tracks?”
“Sir best guess is that two of the ships were flying close so they would look as one.”
“OK so where is the fourth heading?”
“We will have to track it sir. It may change course now that it is on its own.”
“OK, keep an eye on Delta. What is going on with the other three?”
“Yes sir we are tracking it. Delta is still moving at 2.5 gees. The other three are moving much faster. Two of them Alpha and Beta are moving at 3 gees. Gamma is moving at 4 gees.”
“What. Why would someone speed up this close to planet? They are going to have to brake very hard to make planet fall without skipping off the atmosphere.”
“Yes sir they will, but it will cut down the transit time by an hour for Alpha and Beta. Gamma will be on world in one hour.”
“Someone wants to be on world bad. Control have they changed course at all?”
“Yes sir. Gamma track has changed course by 3 degrees and will have it landing closer to Mauna Kea.”
“Dam, that is not good! Transport control, inform the pilots transporting the Gamma group of the changes.”
“Sir you know that puts Gamma group close to plant #3 also.”
“I know that Sergeant. Get Plant #3 on line and make sure that they are on ready. Also make sure that Gamma group and Plant #3 security have radio codes for each other.”
“Sir if Alpha does not make any course changes they will be in the area of Rainbow. Beta will be very close to plant #1 sir if they do not change course.”
“Great, this just gets better. Get security for plant #1 on the line and let them know they will have unwelcome visitors. Also get the commander for Beta group on the line and inform them they will be heading in to a secure area and to make sure of their targets. ”
“Sir should we give the plant security the radio codes for Beta group?”
“Yes and make sure that Beta group has the codes for the Security force also.”
“Sergeant, get the Governor and her security on line just in case Beta drops on the Castle and not Plant #1.”

Damon thanks Bully for the offer, but would be of more use with the Tech crew, if they desire assistance.

The troops aboard Gamma, assuming it is a dropship, will be in very bad physical shape when they arrive.  At 4G, for a 200lb man, it would feel like they were 800lbs.  Pumping blood and breathing will be extremely exhausting, and for a day or so they may be down with respiratory problems and coughing up blood.  Their muscles and internal organs will be inflamed from blood vessels rupturing and they will feel like they have the flu from Hell.  As a consequence, their skill level should drop a point or two.

I am forced to consider the possibility that Gamma is an unmanned decoy.  The same may potentially be true of Alpha and Beta.  Caesar is known for these kinds of tactics.  If it is not, there are not many troop carriers that can accelerate at 4G.  The only mech carrier operating on this side of the Inner Sphere is a Broadsword which carries 5 mechs.  There are also a few vehicle and infantry carriers which could make things a genuine blood mess.

Can we assume that we will be bringing our Gamma defense forces to the game today?

If the ship is built for the speed the crew and passengers can deal with the speed for a short bit. No not happy but can still do the job on the ground.
At the point when they pick up the pace they will not have that long of a travel time.

“Aries Plant 1 security to all personal you are to move to your security shelter now this is not a drill.”
“Aries Plant 1 security to all personal you are to move to your security shelter now this is not a drill.”
“Security control to all security personal we have incoming raider force take your stations.”
“Mobile patrol to control we are on the move.”
“Foot patrols we are taking stations at shelters.”

“OK people look sharp we will be on the plant in 2 mikes.”
“Roger that lead.”
“Recon 1 to ground 1, we have dropped team one and are circling the plant.”
“Roger recon. Keep an eye on the armor they have.”
“Already on that boss. They have 4 tanks taking up formation and heading to the front door.”
“Roger that recon. One to all units we are going for the side door.”
“Roger one side door.”
“Overhead to one we will take the backdoor.”
“Roger overhead. Do keep in mind that we are in and out no long term things here. Get what we can and get moving.”
“Copy that boss. Teams will deploy in 1 mike.”

“Mobil Security to control we just had 3 VTOLs buzz by.”
“Roger that Mobil patrol. Keep on the main entrance the raider vees are heading that way.”
“Roger control.”

“One to team in 1 mike hard right and then head for the side door.”
“Roger one.”
“One to team your speed is what we have to keep them from grouping up on us.”
“One to ground teams, take what you can but do not get greedy. If you do you are on your own.”

“Control to Mobil your targets just made a hard turn to your left. Looks like they are going for the side entrance.”
“Roger that control. Those hovers are going to make it hard to stop them.”
“Roger that patrol do the best you can.”
“Ground teams stay at your posts. Do not go off after these people unless they hit the shelters.”
“Roger control we will keep the boxes safe.”

“Overhead to One we are taking fire from one of the security tanks. That thing has some major range.”
“Roger that overhead. Keep back I don’t want to lose any of you.”
“Cobra to one I am exchanging fire with that tank and we have the same range brackets. He just has more guns to shoot back with.”
“I copy Cobra. Just keep that one of the ground teams backs, we will handle the others.”
“Boss these guys have some big guns on the ground. How are we going to do this?”
“Simple we use our speed and don’t get shot or pined in someplace.”
‘Recon 2 to One I am heading do the dock. Will drop team and keep the comms jammed.”
“Roger that R2. Keep on the outside after you drop your team. I need you to keep the Strike off our backs after we get the goods.”

“Mobil to control the raiders have taken 4 from the loading dock and have 2 more from final assembly looks like they are going to the grounds.”
“Understand Mobil if they get those units to the grounds you will have 6 more to deal with.”
“We do know that control but the hovers keep blocking and they have a better mix of weapons.”
“Roger Mobil. The heavies will be here in 4 mikes. Do what you can to hold them.”
“Will do control.”

“Overhead to ground teams, time is up. If you do not have a ride, get to point able.”
“Rover that overhead point able.”
“Overhead to One we are picking up legs and heading out.”
‘One to overhead roger. One to team get ready to move out. Pickup new toys and head to point theta.”

“Control to Mobil sitrep.”
“Mobil to control we have 2 down and 1 heavy damage.”
Control to Mobil do not go after raiders let the heavies handle that. Get your people to medical and let the techs do what they can for the tanks.”
“Roger control. They were just too fast for us to get good shots on.”

“One to all units sitrep.”
“Overhead, we have some dents but nothing bad.”
“4 to One I have some holes but still good to go.”
“3 to One I’m a bit slower but still faster than the new toys”
“R2 to One good to go have magic playing to keep the big boys off our backs.”
“Good show people.”
“One to Birdhouse pickup at point theta.”
“Birdhouse to One Roger that. Pickup in 5 mikes.”
“One to Longlegs, pickup is at theta you have 5 and then you walk home.”

Hi-

On salvage comment at the game today, I have a suggestion.  It may be more trouble than it's worth, so please let me know.

If Anthony is willing, he compiles a list of salvage at the end of each battle.  Each item is listed with approximate value (reflecting condition, etc.).  Anyone who wants to claim an item accepts that amount as his cost, and if two or more people want it they can bid for it.  Winning bidder puts money into a general pool, which is then divided out and added to pay at the end of the month.  If the group agrees, items of salvage can be excepted from this process and simply given to someone without their paying for it.

This at least would give everyone a chance to claim salvage, rather than be confused as to who took what...

Thanks, and remember, I'm only an... Obnoxious Twerp

I think today's salvage should be excepted.  Today, you and the Ironborn got in most of the shooting and took all of the damage.  This money should be divided between just the both of you, and not the group as a whole.

Field Bonus
With the Governor's personal thanks each Unit on the field at the Gamma LZ will receive 5,000,000 Ryu (k-bill) and each of the personnel on the field will receive 5,000 Ryu

as previously discussed the Governor will front the total of the bounties listed for Caesar, and this will be split between all the GSF Units evenly, minus ten percent to go to the Saganami Ichizoku coffers and the Parliamentary coffers (total to be determined by the gm)

Please determine which personnel will be available for PR and Press interviews

I do list what salvage is on the field and normal has been the unit that got the kill got the salvage.
This time out it is different as the kill shot came for the opfor.
I can do as asked no problem.
If the players want the salvage to go to certain units this can be done.
If the players just want to pool the items that works also. I will say that said pool items go to the unit need them at a given time.
Also you have 2 new units that will need a home.
They will want to work for the same command.
I will offer up that they go to the Ironborn as they are now down a much and the can use the armored unit as well.
