Panther doing a Voltron impression
« on: 19 October 2017, 04:19:16 »
So you have a worn Panther with a broken lower right arm. The old arm is gone. But, your 4-year-old son is a fanatical Voltron fan, and you have a spare Sloth battlearmor lying around.  End result?  The attached pic.

Done on a lark, so it's not exactly painted up yet, but you get the picture. ;D

My daughter has fallen in love with the Netflix Voltron show (and thought it was bizarre when I showed her YouTube clips of the original).

For her Christmas present, I've ordered five quads that I'm going to paint up as the lions.

Barghest BGS-1T
Blue Flame BLF-21
Goliath GOL-5D
Thunder Fox TFT-A9
Trebaruna TR-XB

Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

Oh man...although I know you said you already ordered the quads, have you seen the Sarath painted by MasterGunz??? It literally looks like one of the Voltron Lions...

Looks nice.  I wasn't familiar with that model.  I may order one, and suborn one of the less-feline quads into my own collection.

Looks like a good start, pic is kind of blurry on my computer, sorry I can't give more detail about the details.

I tried to paint up a No-Dachi in a Voltron colour scheme years ago.  It was beyond my meager skills.

That Sarath looks nice...

When you get to that point...keep in mind, the Prime is a Standard In Distribution item, part number 20-5143. There is also the 2 variants as Online Exclusive items. Parts numbers BT-409 for the A variant, and BT-410 for the B variant.

Jade...there's 2. The Standing version, BT-406, and the Limited Edition Jumper TREBLTDJP-16

Are you buying 2 of each?  That way you can have the five lions and swap them out on the field for the big guy. ;D
The combining thing will have to be house-ruled, but we got rules for swords, shields, vtol movement, lasers, flamers.... Wait a sec. There's no good analog for the Spinning Laser Blade!!  Nevermind.  Forget everything this was a complete waste of time.  ;)
