Armorcast 1/60 Mechs?
« on: 28 October 2017, 09:26:00 »
Hey, all.

Rediscovered my love for Battletech recently, and I'm trying to track down one of the old Armorcast 1/60 models.

Judging by the site, they don't make them anymore, and my eBay search only hit on one of those awful Horizon vinyl Mad Cats. Any suggestions of reputable places to find these?

Thanks!

Max

I wish you luck in this, but...

...or 3rd party models?

I'd advise you to ask elsewhere for these, as discussion of unlicensed or bootleg materials is prohibited on this forum. Of course, people in possession of such can always contact you via PM, so long as it stays off the public forum. [copper]

Armorcast kits are extremely rare now. You have to keep checking ebay regularly and be prepared to spend a lot of money to get one.

You can OCCASIONALLY get lucky and find one at major Cons as well in the dealer hall, but no matter what, it will be expensive.  I've seen an Atlas go for $600.  The Vulture is the one I see the most, and is usually the "cheapest."

Wow didn't know that they went for that much I bought my MadCat and Vulture brand new for about $100 each back in the early 90's I think. No I am not trying to sell.

There's also the joyride mechs.  They were 1:55, but you'll find them cheaper.
