Not seen that one myself - there are some talented kitbashes I have seen (such as Siberian Troll's Bhargest), and some hack-handed ones I did ;)

Both made with plastics from the Intro Box. Any other XTRO minis out there?

* No, FASA wasn't big on errata - ColBosch
* The Housebook series is from the 80's and is the foundation of Btech, the 80's heart wrapped in heavy metal that beats to this day - Sigma
* To sum it up: FASAnomics: By Cthulhu, for Cthulhu - Moonsword
* Because Battletech is a conspiracy by Habsburg & Bourbon pretenders - MadCapellan
* The Hellbringer is cool, either way. It's not cool because it's bad, it's cool because it's bad with balls - Nightsky

Those are pretty cool. I don't recognize either of those mechs though. To me, the top one looks like a star league era mech and the one on the bottom looks like a modified hunchback. But thats just me. :)

If it's still in the archive, just type in Wolfhound WLF-2X XTRO Mercs in the search and it should be in one of the results.

It's been Wackrabbit. He made and the Wolfhound-3X and Grasshopper 7-X too.
I'd seen recently on this forums and Pendragon X-'mech too

I'd seen the DVX-10 pic, and it look as a very simple bash.
Consisting from four rails over existing barrels and glued rifled boxes with pipes.

The one on top is the Quickdraw from XTRO Corporate, the one on the bottom is the Hunchback from the same book.

I think, Wackrabbit will post them, when he will read this thread.

And if you mean bash of DVX-10, then not right now. I'd prefer to do Mauler/Banzai bash, but have too much projects on the hands right now. ("Urbie with attitude", I'm looking at you!)
But maybe I'll post pics of the several my new mini's today.

Hey I got a quick question about miniatures. They were originally used in old BattleTech board game right?

There has never been a point in time when BattleTech did not use miniatures, so your reference to "old" BattleTech is puzzling.

And things like that are what these forums are for. Don't feel bad about asking anything, even if it sounds like the kinda question the old-timers get asked every week or so.

But there was a time when the mechs in the box sets were just card-stock pictures and plastic stands. Maybe that's the confusion ???

You guys are great. Don't take this the wrong way. But when I first registered, I expected most of you to be complete jerks. I'm definitely wrong. I've made good friends on this site, like Fullback, Ion Raptor, and worktroll. I really appreciate the kindness you guys have shown me. :)

You have my sincere thanks for that comment. It tells me that we in the Battletech community are doing our jobs right. The mods and regular posters here go to great pains to make sure this place is accessible to even the most inexperienced people. After all, if not, where would we get new experienced players? O0

Differences are in the arms and torso. For reference, the standard mini:

Actually, when you take a good look at it, it doesn't have the ppcs in the torso like the regular DVS-2.
